It is expected to make landfall over Southern Vietnam today (19 November 2017) and decline to a low-pressure cell before covering Cambodia and cover the upper Gulf of Thailand during 20-21 November 2017. It is forecast to make landfall over Southern Vietnam today before declining as a low-pressure cell cover Cambodia. More rain with isolated heavy rain will be likely in the East and the upper South. People should beware of possible flash flood and strong winds while the Gulf of Thailand has waves about 2 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution. The rather strong high-pressure system covers upper Vietnam. It is expected to cover the Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea. It will further extend to the North and the upper Central. Outbreaks of thundershower spells will be likely at the beginning of the period, following with cool spells decreasing by 2-4 íC and strong winds.
