The rather strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Meanwhile, the moderate monsoon trough lies across northern Thailand and upper Laos into the low-pressure cell over the coast of upper Vietnam. Continuous rains are likely in the country and isolated heavy rain are likely in the East and the South (west coast) while isolated very heavy rains are possible in the North and the Northeast. People should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlards.
In the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf, waves are 2-3 meters high and more than 3 meters high in thundershowers while the lower Andaman Sea and the lower Gulf has waves 1-2 meters high and more than 2 meters in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, and small boats in the upper part of Andaman Sea and the upper Guft refrain from leaving the shore within 2-3 days.
In addition, Typhoon KHANUN over the Pacific Ocean is expected to move near southern Okinawa province, Japan during 1 - 2 Aug 2023.

ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Nong Khai, Bueng Kan,
Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Kalasin, Mukdahan, Roi Et,
Yasothon, Amnat Charoen and Ubon Ratchathani.
Minimum temperature 24-26 °C.
Maximum temperature 28-37 °C.
Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.

Scattered thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Lopburi,

Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat.
Minimum temperature 23-27 °C. Maximum temperature 32-36 °C.
Surat Thani northwards: Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr.
Wave height about 2 meters and more than 2 meters in thundershowers.
Nakhon Si Thammarat southwards: Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr.
Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters offshore.
