The monsoon trough lies across the upper North and upper Laos while the southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf with isolated heavy rains in the upper country. People should beware of heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands.
The moderate wind and waves are likely 1-2 meters high in the upper Andaman Sea and above 2 meters high in thundershowers while about 1 meter high in the lower Andaman Sea and the Gulf and above 1 meter high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
