General Situation
02 May 2026The weak high-pressure system from China cover the Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea while the southwesterly and southeasterly winds prevail over the upper country with isolated thundershowers and gusty wind. An increase in temperature with hot during the day are forecast over upper Thailand and isolated very hot is possible in the North and the Central regions. People should beware of severe conditions and keep healthy due hot to very hot weather. The easterly and southeasterly winds prevail over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea with isolated thundershowers in the South.

Northeastern

Isolated thundershowers with gust mostly in Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Khon Kaen, Kalasin, Maha Sarakham, Mukdahan, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buri Ram and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 22–25 °C. Maximum temperature 34-38 °C. Southeasterly winds 10–15 km./hr.
Central
Day hot to very hot. Isolated thundershowers with gust mostly in Kanchanaburi, Uthai Thani, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Suphan Buri, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. Minimum temperature 21-25 °C. Maximum temperature 38–40 °C. Southerly winds 10–15 km./hr.
Eastern
Day hot. Isolated thundershowers with gust mostly in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 23–27 °C. Maximum temperature 35-38 °C. Southerly winds 15–30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershower.
Southern (East Coast)
Day hot. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23–25 °C. Maximum temperature 32-38 °C. Southeasterly winds 15–30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershower.
Southern (West Coast)
Day hot. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 24–27 °C. Maximum temperature 33-35 °C. Easterly winds 10–30 km./hr. Wave below 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershower.
