General Situation
15 April 2026The heat low-pressure cell covers upper Thailand with day hot to very hot and haze over the upper country. Meanwhile, the Southerly winds prevail over the East with isolated thundershower. People should keep healthy due to hot to very hot weather.The westerly wind prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the upper Gulf while the southeasterly wind prevails over the lower Gulf with isolated thundershowers and day hot in the South. In addtion, During 16-20 April 2026, another high-pressure system from China will extend to the South China Sea leading to the southerly and southeasterly winds prevailing over the lower Northeast and the East will strengthen while hot to very hot weather occurs over the upper country. Outbreak of summer storms are possible following with thunderstorm, gusty wind and hail including lightning in some areas of the Northeast for the first period then the East, the eastern part of the Central and the lower North regions, respectively.

Southern (West Coast)
Day hot. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Phuket, Krabi, Trang, and Satun. Minimum temperature 24-27 °C. Maximum temperature 33-36 °C. Northwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershower.
