General Situation
15 September 2025The monsoon through moves down to lie across the Central, the upper South and the East into the active low pressure cell over the South China Sea with the southeasterly wind prevails over the lower Northeast, the East and the upper Gulf while the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf. Isolated heavy rain remains in the lower Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and vicinity, the East and the South. People in the areas especially of the South should beware of heavy rains and its accumulation that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. The wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea are expected 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Andaman Sea and the Gulf, the waves are expected about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.

Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 23-25 °C. Maximum temperature 29-34 °C. Variable winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-25 °C. Maximum temperature 30-34 °C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phang Nga, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 23-24 °C. Maximum temperature 28-32 °C. From Phuket northward: southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr, Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers. From Krabi southward: southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain. Minimum temperature 25-26 °C. Maximum temperature 31-33 °C. Variable winds 10-15 km/hr.
