General Situation
07 December 2024The another moderate high-pressure system from China extend to southern China and upper Vietnam. It is expected to cover upper Laos and the upper Northeast of Thailand by today (7 December 2024) then the rest regions. A decrease in temperarture by 1-3 °C with strong wind are likely in the Northeast for the first period. People in the area should keep healthy due to cool weather and beware of fire due to dry air and strong wind. The moderate northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the lower South with isolated heavy rains in the lower South. People in the area beware of heavy rains. The wind and waves in the lower Gulf are likely 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should keep off thundershowers.
