General Situation
12 April 2026The heat low-pressure cell covers upper Thailand with day hot to very hot and haze over the upper country. People should keep healthy due to hot to very hot weather. The westerly wind prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf Hot during the day with isolated thundershowers are likely in the South. In addtion, During 16–18 April 2026, another high-pressure system from China will extend to the South China Sea leading to the southerly and southeasterly winds prevailing over the lower Northeast and the East will strengthen while hot to very hot weather occurs over the upper country. Outbreak of summer storms are possible following with thunderstorm, gusty wind and hail including lightning in some areas of the Northeast for the first period then the East, the eastern part of the Central and the lower North regions, respectively.

Southern (West Coast)
Day hot. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 25-26 °C. Maximum temperature 34-37 °C. Northwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershower.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Day hot with haze and isolated very hot. Minimum temperature 26-29 °C. Maximum temperature 36-40 °C. Southerly winds 10-15 km/hr.
