General Situation
26 March 2025The heat low-pressure cell covers upper Thailand with hot to very hot and haze during the day. Meanwhile, the southwesterly and southeasterly winds prevail over the upper country with isolated thundershower and gust. People in the upper Thailand should keep healthy due to hot to very hot weather and beware of thundershowers with gust. The weakening easterly and southeastly wind prevails over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea with less rain in the lower South. The wind and waves in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea are likely about 1 meter high and above 1 meter high in thundershowers. All ships in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. In addition, during 29 Mar – 1 Apr, the weak high-pressure system from China will extend to upper Laos, upper Vietnam and the South China Sea leading to the easterly and southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the upper country where hot to very hot weather occurs. Outbreaksof summer storms are possible following with thunderstorms, gusty wind and hail including lightning strike are likely in some areas of the upper country. People in upper Thailand should keep healthy due to changeable weather and beware of severe conditions by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards and farmers should prevent for crops damage and animals danger.

Isolated thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-26 °C. Maximum temperature 33-36 °C. Southeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 24-25 °C. Maximum temperature 34-36 °C. Easterly winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter, above 1 meter offshore and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Hot with haze. Isolated thundeshowers Minimum temperature 27-28 °C. Maximum temperature 35-39 °C. Southerly winds 10-20 km./hr.
