General Situation
11 June 2026The monsoon trough lies across the upper North and upper Laos into the low-pressure cell over the coast of upper Vietnam while the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Isolated heavy rains are forecast in the country while isolated very heavy rain are possible in the North and the upper Northeast regions. People in the country should beware of heavy to very heavy rain and its accumulation that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. The moderate wind forces the waves in the upper Andaman Sea up to be about 2 meters high, 1-2 meters high in the lower Andaman Sea and the Gulf and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.

Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chai Nat, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, and Samut Sakhon. Minimum temperature 23-26 °C. Maximum temperature 34-36 °C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km./hr.
Eastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chanthaburi, and Trat. Minimum temperature 24-28 °C. Maximum temperature 32-36 °C. Southwesterly winds 15-35 km./hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, and Nakhon Si Thammarat. Minimum temperature 23-26 °C. Maximum temperature 33-35 °C. Southwesterly winds 15-35 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter, 1-2 meters offshore and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, and Krabi. Minimum temperature 23-25 °C. Maximum temperature 30-34 °C. From Phang Nga northward: Southwesterly winds 20-35 km./hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers. From Phuket southward: Southwesterly winds 15-35 km./hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
