Weather Outlook During 14 – 20 Oct 2025During 14 – 15 Oct, the easterly wave will move to the lower Northeast, the East, the upper Gulf, the Central and the lower North while the southwest monsoon still prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf. More rains and isolated heavy rains are forecast in the upper country. During 16 - 20 Oct, the monsoon trough move to lies across the South and the Gulf while the southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the lower South and the lower Gulf. Meanwhile the easterly wind brings the moisture from the South China Sea to the upper country. Isolated heavy rains are forecasted in the South regions while isolated thundershowers are likely in the upper country. The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf are expected about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers throughout the period.
Caution
During 14 – 15 Oct, people in the upper country and during 16 – 18 Oct, people in the South should beware of heavy rains and accumulation. All ships in the Gulf and Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers area throughout the period.
