Weather Outlook During 28 January – 3 Febuary 2026During 28 Jan – 1 Feb 2026, the high-pressure system from China covering upper Thailand and the South China Sea is weakening with an increase in temperature and morning fog while morning cool to cold remains the upper North and the upper Northeast. The moderate northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea with isolated thundershowers in the South. The wind and waves in the lower Gulf are likely 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershower. During 2 - 3 Feb 2026, another moderate high-pressure system from China will extend to the upper country and the South China Sea with a decrease in temperate. The northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea will strengthen. The wind and waves in the lower Gulf are likely about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershower.
Caution
People in the upper Thailand and the upper South should keep healthy due to changable weather. All ships in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers throughtout the periods.
