During 4 – 6 Nov, less rain in the upper Thailand with morning cool due to the moderate high-pressure system from China will extend to cover the Northeast while the monsoon through will lie across the upper South, the lower Central and the East. During 7 – 9 Nov, more rain with isolated heavy rain are in the upper Thailand due to the high-pressure system which cover the upper Thailand and the South China Sea is weakening causing the monsoon through will lie across the Central, the East and the lower Northeast. Isolated heavy rains are forecast in the South. The moderate wind and waves in the Gulf and Andaman Sea are expected 1 - 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. During 5 – 7 Nov, the strengthening wind force the waves in the Andaman Sea up to 2 - 3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers Addition, severe tropical storm “KALMAEGI” over the Pacific Ocean or the east of the Phillipines is likely to move into the middle South China Sea during 4 - 5 Nov. During 6 – 7 Sep, this storm is expected to make landfall over middle Vietnam. Storm “KALMAEGI” is forecast to downgrade rapidly to a tropical depression and then an active low-pressure cell respectively over the upper Thailand.

Caution

People in upper Thailand should keep healthy due to changeable weather and farmers should prevent for crop damage. All ships in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers throughout the period. During 7 - 8 Nov, people in the Northeast should beware of heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands.
