27 June – 3 July 2026During 28 Jun – 3 July 2026, the monsoon trough will lie across the upper North and the upper Northeast while the southwest monsoon which prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf will strengthen with more rains and isolated heavy rains. Very heavy rains are possible in the East and the South (west coast). During 27 - 28 Jun 2026, the moderated wind force the waves in the upper Andaman Sea up to be about 2 meters high, 1 - 2 meters high in the lower Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. During 29 Jun – 3 Jul 2026, wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf will be strengthen. The rather strong wind and wave in the upper Andaman Sea are 2 – 3 meters and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf , the wave about 2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Caution
During 28 Jun – 2 July 2026, people in Thailand should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers throughout the period. Small boat in the upper Andaman Sea should keep ashore during 29 Jun – 3 Jul 2026.
