Weather Outlook During 27 Nov - 3 Dec 2025During 27 – 30 Nov, The rather strong high-pressure system from China extended to upper Thailand, the upper South and the upper South China Sea with cool to cold and strong wind. A decrease in temperature by 3-5 °C. is likely in the Northeast while cool is likely in the rest regions except for the lower South and decrease in temperature by 1-3 °C. The moderate Northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf, the South and the Andmana Sea with less rains and isolated heavy rains in the lower South. The moderate wind and wave in the Gulf are expected about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the Andaman Sea, the waves are expected 1 – 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers and offshore. During 1 – 3 Dec, another rather strong high-pressure system from China covering upper Thailand, the upper South and the South China Sea will weaken with an increase in temperature by 3 – 5 °C and morning fog. Morning cool to cold is forecast in the North and the Northeast while cool in the morning is forecast in the Central, the East and the upper South except for the lower South. The moderate northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea will weaken with isolated thundershowers in the lower South. The waves in the Gulf are likely about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the Andaman Sea, the waves are expected about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In addition, tropical storm “KOTO” over the middle South China Sea is forecast to intensified and will move to near the coast of lower Vietnam while the high-pressure system covers Vietnam and the South China Sea. This storm will decline rapidly and not move to Thailand but leading to the northeasterly wind prevailing over upper Thailand will strengthen.

Warning: During 27 – 30 Nov, people in the upper country and the upper South should keep healthy due to cool to cold weather and beware of fire due to dry air and strong wind. All ships in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers throughout the period.
