6 - 12 June 2026During 6 – 12 Jun 2026, the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf while during 8 – 12 Jun 2026, the monsoon trough will lie across Myanmar, the upper North and upper Laos into the low-pressure cell over upper Vietnam with isolated heavy rains in the country and isolated very heavy rains in the North and the upper Northeast regions. The rather strong winds force the waves in the upper Andaman Sea up to be 2 - 3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf, the waves are expected about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Caution
People in the country, especially in the North and the upper Northeast should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. All ships in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boat in the upper Andaman Sea keep ashore throughout the period.

Southern (West Coast)
Scattered to fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in upper part throughout the period. Phangnga northward, southwesterly winds 20 – 40 km/hr. Wave height 2 – 3 meters, above 3 meters in thundershowers area. Phuket southward, southwesterly winds 20 – 35 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters, above 2 meters in thundershowers area. Minimum temperature 23 - 26 °C. Maximum temperature 29 - 35 °C.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Scattered thundershowers throughout the period and isolated heavy rains. Southwesterly winds 10 – 25 km/hr. Minimum temperature 24 - 28 °C. Maximum temperature 33 - 37 °C.
