General Situation
07 November 2024Another moderate to rather strong high-pressure system from China extends to upper Thailand and South China Sea. Cool in the morning are forecast in the area with 1-2 °C drop in temperature and strong wind in the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East. While the westerly trough from Myanmar will move to the western portion of the North with isolated thundershower and gust wind in the North. People in the areas should keep healthy due to changeable weather. Farmer should prepare for crop's damage. The monsoon trough lies across the lower South while the northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the upper South with isolated heavy to very heavy rain. The moderate wind and waves in the Gulf are likely 1-2 meters high while the waves in the Andaman Sea are likely about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
