The another rather strong high-pressure system from China extend to the Northeast and the South China Sea. It is expected to cover upper Thailand by tonight (12 Dec). Isolated rains are likely in the upper country for the first period then a decrease in temperature and strong wind. Morning cool is likely in the North and the Northeast regions. On mountaintops of the North, cold to very cold and isolated frost are forecast while cold is forecast on mountaintops of the Northeast. People in the areas should keep healthy due to changable weather and be caution due to poor visibility. The rather strong northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South while the low-pressure cell over the lower South China Sea will move pass the lower gulf and the lower South with more rains and scattered heavy to isolated very heavy rains in the South. People in the South should beware of heavy to very heavy rains that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along the foothills near waterways and lowlands. The rather strong wind forces the waves in the Gulf up to 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the Andaman Sea, the waves have about 1 meter high, above 1 meter high offshore and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats in the Gulf keep ashore. People along the Gulf shore should beware of inshore surges.

Central
Cloudy and isolated rains mostly in Ratchaburi, Samut Sakorn and Samut Songkhram. Minimum temperature 22-24 °C. Maximum temperature 30-33 °C. Easterly winds 10-20 km./hr.
Eastern
Cloudy and isolated rains mostly in Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 23-25 °C. Maximum temperature 29-32 °C. Easterly winds 20-35 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and about 2 meters offshore.
Southern (East Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and scattered heavy to isolated very heavy rains in Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 22-24 °C. Maximum temperature 25-30 °C. Northeasterly winds 20-40 km./hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Ranong, Phanggha, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 23-25 °C. Maximum temperature 26-29 °C. Easterly winds 15-35 km./hr. Wave below 1 meter, above 1 meter offshore and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Cloudy and isolated rains. Minimum temperature 23-25 °C. Maximum temperature 30-33 °C. Easterly winds 10-20 km./hr.
