General Situation
25 December 2024The high-pressure system remains covered upper Thailand and the upper South, Cold to cool weather and morning fog conditions over the regions. Morning coolness persists in the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the upper South. Cool to cold weather continues in the North and the Northeast of Thailand. On the mountaintops of the North and Northeast, cold to very cold weather is expected and morning frost. Meanwhile, the easterly and southeasterly winds will bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the lower Northeast and the East with isolated rains/thundershowers. People in the upper country should keep healthy due to variable weathers All transport take more caution in poor visibility and farmer in the upper Thailand should prevent for crop's damage The moderate northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South with less rain mostly in the lower South. Moderate winds and waves in the Gulf are expected to reach about 2 meters in height and over 2 meters in thundershower areas. In the Andaman Sea, waves are forecast to be about 1 meter high, above 1 meter offshore, and over 2 meters during thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and avoid areas with thundershowers. Additionally, Tropical storm “PABUK” over the lower South China Sea, it is expected to approach the eastern coast of Vietnam during 25–26 December 2024. This storm is forecast to weaken and then into an active low-pressure cell, respectively. The storm will not present direct effect to Thailand. The travelers should check the weather forecast for the region you’re going to be visiting.

Cool with morning light fog and 1-2 °C rise in temperature. Isolated light rain mostly coastal area. Minimum temperature 19-24 °C. Maximum temperature 31-33 °C. Northeasterly winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters offshore.
Southern (East Coast)
Upper part: Morning cool. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 21-24 °C. Maximum temperature 29-31 °C. Northeasterly winds 20-35 km./hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 22-24 °C. Maximum temperature 32-33 °C. Northeasterly winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter, above 1 meter offshore, and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Cool with morning light fog and 1-2 °C rise in temperature. Minimum temperature 20-23 °C. Maximum temperature 30-32 °C. Northeasterly winds 10-20 km./hr.
