General Situation
26 July 2025The rather strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf while the low-pressure cell over upper Vietnam with isolated heavy rain are possible in the North and the Northeast. People in these areas should beware of heavy rain and accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along waterways near foothills and lowlands. The rather strong wind forces the waves in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf up to 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. The wind and wave in the lower Andaman Sea are likely about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf should keep ashore. In addition, tropical storm “Co-may” over the Pacific Ocean, north of the Philippines is expected to move to the south of Japan. This storm will not move to Thailand.

Scattered thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Chachoengsao and Sa Kaeo. Minimum temperature 25-28 °C Maximum temperature 32-35 °C Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan. Minimum temperature 24-26 °C Maximum temperature 34-37 °C Surat Thani upward : Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr. Wave height about 2 meters, 2-3 meters offshore and above 3 meters in thundershowers. Nakhon Si Thammarat downward : Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters, about 2 meters offshore and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Ranong and Phang Nga. Minimum temperature 24-28 °C Maximum temperature 32-35 °C Phangnga upward : Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr.
