General Situation
27 June 2025The monsoon trough lies across the upper Myanmar, the upper North of Thailand and upper Laos into the low-pressure cell over upper Vietnam while the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Isolated heavy rains are likely in upper Thailand with very heavy rain expected in some parts of the North and the Northeast. Isolated thundershowers are likely in the South. People in the upper country should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods, overflows and landslides especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. The moderate wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea are expected 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Andaman Sea and the Gulf, the waves are expected about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.

Eastern
Scattered thundershowers with isolated heavy rain in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chanthaburi, and Trat. Minimum temperature 24–27 °C Maximum temperature 31-35 °C Southwesterly winds 15–30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers
Southern (East Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23–25 °C Maximum temperature 33-36 °C Southwesterly winds 15–30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 24–26 °C Maximum temperature 32–35 °C From Phuket northward : Southwesterly winds 15–35 km/hr.
