General Situation
27 September 2025The active monsoon trough lies across the lower North, the upper Central and the lower Northeast of Thailand while the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Isolated heavy rain are likely in many places of country and very heavy rain are likely in the East. People in the upper country should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and its accumulation that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. The moderated to rather strong wind force the waves in the upper Andaman Sea are likely 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf, the waves are likely about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats in the upper Andaman Sea keep ashore. In addition, severe tropical storm “BUALOI” over the middle South China Sea was intensify to typhoon. This storm is expected to make landfall over upper Vietnam during 28–29 September 2025

Northeastern

Eastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rain in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat. Minimum temperature: 23–26°C Maximum temperature: 27–32°C Southwesterly winds 15–35 km/hr. Waves height 1–2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, and Surat Thani. Minimum temperature: 23–25°C Maximum temperature: 31–34°C From Surat Thani northward: southwesterly winds 15–35 km/hr. Waves height 1–2 meters and about 2 meters in thundershowers. From Nakhon Si Thammarat southward: southwesterly winds 15–30 km/hr. Waves height about 1 meter and 1–2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Ranong, Phangnga and Phuket. Minimum temperature: 24–26°C Maximum temperature: 29–33°C From Phuket northward: southwesterly winds 20–35 km/hr. Waves height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers. From Krabi southward: southwesterly winds 15–35 km/hr. Waves height 1–2 meters and about 2 meters in thundershowers.
