The rather strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea and the Gulf with isolated heavy to very heavy rains.
The rather strong wind forces the waves in the upper Andaman Sea up to 2-3 meters high, above 3 meters high in thundershowers and 1–2 meters high in the lower Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf, above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the upper Andaman Sea keep ashore lasting 11 June 2023.
