Cool to cold in Thailand
Heavy Rain in the South and Strong wind-waves in the Gulf
(Effect during 17-23 November 2025)
During 17-23 Nov 2025, another strong high-pressure system from China extend to the upper Thailand and the South China Sea with thundershower with gust in the first period. After that decrease in temperature and strong winds. A decrease in temperature by 4 – 7 °C are forecast in the Northeast while a decrease in temperature by 2 – 4 °C are forecast in the North, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East regions. People in upper the country should beware severe condition and keep healthy due to change condition the weather with cooler and beware of fire due to strong winds and dry air. Farmers should prevent for crop damage.
The strengthening northeast monsoon will prevail over the Gulf and the South while the easterly wave will move over the South with more rains and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in the South. The waves in the Gulf up to 2 - 3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers while the waves in the upper Andaman Sea are likely about 2 meters high, 2 – 3 meters offshore and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. People along the South (east coast) should beware of severe condition and accumulated rain that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands including should beware of inshore surges. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the Gulf should keep ashore during 19-23 Nov 2025.
