Subject: Cool to cold in
Thailand
Heavy Rain in the South and
Strong wind-waves in the Gulf
(Effect until 23 November 2025)

During 19-20 November 2025, another strong
high-pressure system from China extend to upper Thailand and the South China
Sea. Cool to cold and a decrease in temperature with strong winds are forecast
in the upper country. A decrease in temperature by 2-4 °C are forecast in the
Northeast while a decrease in temperature by 1-3 °C are forecast in the Central
including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East regions. Cold to very cold on
the mountain top. People in upper the country should beware of variable weather,
keep healthy due to changeable weather and beware of fire due to dry air and
strong wind. Farmers should prevent for crop damage.
The
strengthening northeast monsoon will prevail over the Gulf, the South and the
Andaman Sea with scattered heavy rains and isolated very
heavy rains in the South during 19-23 November 2025.
The rather strong wind forces the waves in
the Gulf up to be 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers
while the waves in the upper Andaman Sea offshore are likely about 2 meters high, 2–3 meters high
offshore and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. People in the South should
beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulations that may cause flash
flood and overflows, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands.
People along the Gulf shore should beware of inshore surges. All
ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats in
the Gulf and the Andaman Sea offshore keep ashore during 19-23 November 2025.
