Subject: Cool to cold in the upper Thailand and Strong wind-waves in the Gulf
(Effect until 28 January 2025)
The rather strong high-pressure system from China cover the upper Thailand and the South China Sea causing cool to cold weather are likely in the upper Thailand with a slight decrease in temperature. People in the country should keep healthy and beware of fire due to strong winds.
The rather strong northeast monsoon prevail over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea. The rather strong wind force the waves in the lower Gulf up to 2–3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the upper Gulf, the wave about 2 meters while in the Andaman Sea, the waves are likely 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters in thundershowers and offshore. People in the South (east coast) should beware of heavy rains and inshore surges. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the lower Gulf should keep ashore on 29 January 2025.
