Subject: Cool to cold in the upper Thailand and Strong wind-waves in the Gulf
(Effect until 28 January 2025)
On 28 January 2025, the rather strong high-pressure system from China extend to cover the upper Thailand and the South China Sea with a decrease in temperature by 1-2 °C with strong winds. People in the country should keep healthy and beware of fire due to strong winds and dry air.
The rather strong northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea with thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in the South. The rather strong wind force the waves in the lower Gulf up to 2–3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the upper Gulf, the wave about 2 meters while in the Andaman Sea, the waves are likely 1-2 meters high and above 2 meters in thundershowers and offshore. People in the South (east coast) should beware of heavy rains and inshore surges. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the Gulf should keep ashore on 28 January 2025.
