Subject: Heavy Rain in Thailand
and Strong wind-waves in the upper Andaman Sea
(Effect until 13 July 2025)

The monsoon through lies across upper Myanmar, the upper North, the upper Northeast of Thailand and Laos while the rather strong southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf with Isolated heavy rains are likely in Thailand. People in the country should beware of heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods, overflows and landslides especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands.
Affected areas are as follows:
On 13 July 2025
North: Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phayao, Nan, Tak,
Phitsanulok and Phetchabun.
Northeast: Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom,
Mukdahan, Amnat Charoen and Ubon Ratchathani.
Central: Saraburi and Kanchanaburi including Bangkok and its vicinity.
East: Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Chanthaburi and Trat.
South: Ranong, Phang Nga and Phuket.
The rather strong wind forces the waves in the upper Andaman Sea up to 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Andaman Sea, the wave are expected about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats in the upper Andaman Sea should keep ashore last 14 July 2025.
