Subject: Heavy to very heavy rain in Thailand,
Strong Wind-Waves in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf

During 14–18 July 2024, the strong monsoon trough will lie across the North and the Northeast of Thailand into an active low-pressure cell over the middle South China Sea, the southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf will strengthen to the rather strong with more rain and heavy rains while isolated very heavy rains in some areas. People should beware of heavy to very heavy rains that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially, along water ways and lowland and take more caution in thundershowers.

On 14 July 2024
Northeast: Nong
Khai, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon,
Nakhon Phanom,
Mukdahan, Yasothon, Kalasin, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et,
Amnat Charoen,
Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani.
Central: Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi.
East: Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.
South: Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Ranong, Phang Nga and Phuket.
On 15-16 July 2024
North: Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Sukhothai, Phichit, Phitsanulok, Phetchabun and Tak.
Northeast: Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan, Yasothon, Kalasin, Khon Kaen, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Amnat Charoen Buriram, Surin, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani.
Central: Nakhon Sawan, Chainat, Lopburi, Saraburi, Singburi, Ang Thong, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi including Bangkok and its vicinity.
East: Chachoengsao, Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Sa Kaeo, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.
South: Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun.
On 17-18 July 2024
North: Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Lampang, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Sukhothai, Kamphaeng Phet, Phichit, Phitsanulok, Phetchabun and Tak.
Northeast: Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom,
Mukdahan, Yasothon, Kalasin,
Khon
Kaen, Roi Et, Amnat Charoen and Ubon Ratchathani.
Central: Kanchanaburi, Suphan Buri, Uthai Thani, Chainat, Nakhon Sawan, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Sing Buri, Ang Thong and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya including Bangkok and its vicinity.
East: Chachoengsao, Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Sa Kaeo, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.
South: Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Ranong, Phang Nga and Phuket.
The rather strong wind forces the wave up to 2-3 meters high in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf with above 3 meters high in thundershower areas while the waves in the lower Andaman Sea and the lower Gulf are about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershower areas. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf should keep ashore during 14–18 July 2024.
