Subject: Heavy to very heavy
Rain in the South
and Strong wind-waves in the
Gulf
(Effect until 16
December 2025)

During 11–13 Dec 2025, rains will be increase with heavy rains are in
and isolated very heavy rains in Prachuap Khiri Khan, Ranong, Phang Nga, Trang
and Satun. Very heavy rains are in Chumphon,
Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, and
Narathiwat. Because of the low pressure cell over the South China Sea will move
pass the tip of Indo-China, the Gulf and the South with heavy rains and very
heavy rains in some places. After that, during 14–16
Dec 2025, heavy rains still be in the lower South such as Nakhon Si
Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, Trang, and Satun due to the northeast monsoon which prevail across the Gulf and
the South will be strengthen. The wind and waves in the lower Gulf are likely
2-3 meters and above 3 meters in the thundershowers. The waves in the upper
Gulf are about 2 meters and above 2 meters in the thundershowers.
People should
beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulations that cause flash flood
and overflows, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. All
ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats in
the lower Gulf keep ashore.
During 11–13 Dec 2025, variable weather
with thundershowers will be in some places of the upper Thailand due to the
easterly wind with moisture prevail across the upper country. After that, 2–4
°C drop in temperature with cool to cold and windy because of the
high-pressure system from China extended to cover Thailand. People in the upper
country should keep healthy due to variable weathers and farmer should prevent
for crop's damage.
