Subject: Storm “BUALOI”
and heavy to very heavy rain in Thailand
No.11 (272/2025)

At 10.00 a.m. LST (29 September
2025), Severe Tropical Storm “BUALOI” over Bolikhamxai, Laos or
at latitude 18.9 degrees north and longitude 104.3 degrees east with maximum
sustained winds about 100 km./hr.
This storm is moving northwest with a speed of 25 km/hr. Storm “BUALOI”
is forecast to downgrade to tropical depression
and an active low-pressure cell, respectively over upper Myanmar during 29-30 September 2025. This storm not
move to Thailand.
The
storm “BUALOI” effects to the strong monsoon through will lie across the North,
the upper Central and the Northeast while the rather strong southwest monsoon
prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf during 29-30 September 2025. Heavy rain is likely in many places over
country with isolated very heavy rain in the North, the Northeast, the East and
the South west coast. People in the country should beware of heavy to very
heavy rain and accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows
especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. The wind force
waves in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf up to 2-3 meters high and
above 3 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the Andaman Sea should
proceed with caution. Small boats in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper
Gulf keep ashore lasting 30 September 2025.
