Subject: Storm “KAJIKI”
and heavy to very heavy rain in Thailand
No.18 (221/2025)

The active low-pressure cell covered the North is causing isolated heavy to very heavy rain over the North and the upper Northeast of Thailand. People in the country should beware of heavy to very heavy rain and accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands.
Affected areas are as followings
26 August 2025
North:
Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai,
Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Tak,
Sukhothai, Phitsanulok, Kamphaeng Phet, Phichit, and Phetchabun.
Northeast: Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng
Kan, Nong Bua Lam Phu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon,
Nakhon
Phanom, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, and Kalasin.
Central: Nakhon
Sawan, Uthai Thani, Lopburi, Saraburi, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi
including Bangkok
and its vicinity.
East: Nakhon
Nayok, Prachin Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat.
South: Phetchaburi,
Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Ranong, and Phang Nga.

Northeast:

East: Nakhon
Nayok, Prachin Buri, Chanthaburi, and Trat.
South: Chumphon and Ranong.
The rather strong wind forces the waves in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf up to 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf should keep ashore.
This advisory is in effect on 26 August 2025, at 11.00 p.m.
