Subject: Storm “KAJIKI”
and heavy to very heavy rain in Thailand
No.20 (223/2025)

The monsoon trough lies across
Myanmar into a low-pressure cell covering the upper North of Thailand. This
causes heavy to very heavy rain in some areas of the North especially in Mae
Hong Son,
Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phayao and Nan. People in the country should beware of
heavy to very heavy rain and accumulation that may cause flash floods and
overflows especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands.
The moderate southwest monsoon prevail over the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand. Waves are likely are about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
