Subject: Storm “KALMAEGI”
and heavy to very heavy rain in Thailand
No.12 (332/2025)

At 4.00 a.m. LST (7 November 2025), Storm “KALMAEGI” over Stueng Traeng, Cambodia. The storm was downgraded to severe tropical storm and was due 120 kilometers southeast of Khong Chiam district of Ubon Ratchathani province, or at latitude 14.2 degrees north and longitude 106.4 degrees east with maximum sustained winds about 83 km/hr. This storm is moving west-northwest with a speed of 30 km/hr., Storm “KALMAEGI” is forecast to downgrade to tropical storm and tropical depression moving pass Laos. It is forecast to move into Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand on 7 November 2025 in the afternoon before weakening to active low pressure cell, respectively.
The storm “KALMAEGI” effects the upper country with more rain and isolated heavy to very heavy rains will occur in the Northeast, the East, the Central including Bangkok and vicinity and the North respectively during 7-9 November 2025. People in the areas should beware of heavy to very heavy rain and accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. Farmers should prevent for crop damage.
The wind force waves in the Andaman Sea up to 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the Andaman Sea should keep ashore until 7 November 2025.
