Subject: Storm “KALMAEGI”

and heavy to very heavy rain in Thailand

No.19 (339/2025)

            The low-pressure cell covers the western part of the Northeast and the lower North of Thailand. It is expected to move to cover the North region.

            Isolated heavy rain is likely in the North, the Northeast and the upper Central during 8–9 November 2025. People in the areas should be aware of heavy rain and its accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. Farmers should take precautions against crop damage.

            The weakening winds and waves in the Andaman Sea are expected about 2 meters high and above 2 meters during thundershowers. All ships in the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and avoid thundershower areas.
