Subject: Strong Wind-Waves in the Andaman Sea and the Upper Gulf
Heavy to Very Heavy Rain in the Central, the East and the South West Coast

During 13–15 July 2026, the strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand will weaken. The rather strong wind forces the waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf up to 2–3 meters and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Gulf, the wave are likely about 2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats should keep ashore.
Isolated heavy rains are forecast in Thailand and isolated very heavy rains are possible in the East. The strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf will weaken while the monsoon trough lie across the upper Myanmar, the upper North of Thailand and upper Laos. People in the areas should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods, overflows and landslides especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands.
