Subject: Summer Storm in Thailand

The moderate to rather strong high-pressure system covers the Northeast and the South China Sea, leading to the southerly winds and the southeasterly winds prevail over the upper country. While the weather in the upper country is hot to very hot. Outbreak of summer storms are possible following with gusty wind and lightning strike are likely in some areas of the North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East. People in these areas should beware of severe conditions by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards and farmers should prevent for crops damage and animals danger.
Affected areas are as followings:
On 6 March 2025
North: Phichit, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun.
Northeast: Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon,
Nakhon Phanom, Kalasin, Mukdahan, Khon Kaen, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani.
Central: Nakhon Sawan, Lopburi and Saraburi.
East: Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong,
Chanthaburi and Trat.
On 7 March 2025
North: Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Phichit, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun.
Northeast: Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Nakhon Ratchasima,
Buriram and Surin.
Central: Nakhon Sawan, Lopburi, Saraburi, Singburi, Ang Thong, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Suphanburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Sakhon and Samut Songkhram including Bangkok and its vicinity.
