Subject: Summer thunderstorm in
the upper country

2026 )

The westerly
trough from Myanmar moves pass the North into upper Laos while another moderate
high-pressure system from China extend to the Northeast, the East and the South
China Sea. Outbreak of summer storms are possible following with gust including
lightning strikes are forecast in the North region. After that 14 March 2026,
less rains and an increase in temperature with hot during the day are forecast
in the upper country.
People in the North
should keep healthy due to changeable weather and beware of severe conditions
by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards. Farmers
should prevent for crop damage and animals danger.
This final advisory is in effect on 13 March 2026, at 11.00 a.m.
