Subject: Summer thunderstorm in the upper country
(Effect until 25 April 2026)

The high-pressure system from China will extend to the Northeast and the South China Sea while hot weather occurs over the upper country. Outbreak of summer storms are possible following with thunderstorm, gusty wind and hail including lightning strikes in some areas of the Northeast, the North, the Central including Bangkok and vicinity and the East. After that, the southeasterly and the southerly winds prevail across the upper country with isolated thundershowers while temperature become lower.
People
in the upper country should beware of severe conditions by keeping off outdoor places,
big trees and unsecured billboards. Farmers should prevent for crop damage and
animals danger.
In addition, during 28-30 Apr 2026, the another high-pressure system from China will extend to the South China Sea and the Northeast with more thundershowers and gusty wind in the upper country.
This final advisory is in effect on 25 April 2026, at. 5.00 p.m.
