Subject: Typhoon “TORAJI”

No.2 (282/2024)

At 4.00 a.m. LST (13 November 2024), the tropical storm “TORAJI” over the upper South China Sea was due at latitude 20.1 degrees north and longitude 116.8 degrees east. With maximum sustained winds about 85 km/hr. This storm was moving west-northwest at a speed of 15 km/hr. It is expected to move close to the Hainan Island, China during 14 – 15 Nov and will down to the tropical depression and an active low pressure cell respectively. This storm will not present direct effect to Thailand. The travelers should check the weather forecast for the region you're going to be visiting
