Subject: Tropical Storm “MITAG”
No. 4 (248/2025)

At 04.00 p.m. LST on 19 September 2025, the Tropical depression over the upper South China Sea has made landfall over Guangdong. China. At 01.00 a.m. LST (20 September 2025), it was down to the tropical depression and was centered at latitude 23.0 degrees north and longitude 114.0 degrees east, with maximum sustained winds near the center at about 55 km/hr. The storm is moving west slowly. It is expected to be the low pressure cell and dissipation rapidly. The travelers should check the weather forecast for the region you're going to be visiting.
The effect of this storm leads to the monsoon through moves up to lie across the lower North, the upper Central and the lower Northeast with more rain and isolated heavy rain. People should beware of heavy rain and accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands.
