Subject: Storm “KALMAEGI”
and heavy to very heavy rain in Thailand
No.13 (333/2025)

At 07.00 a.m. LST (7 November 2025), Storm “KALMAEGI”
over Ban Maktong, Laos. The storm was downgraded to tropical
depression and was due 50 kilometers east of Sirindhorn district
of Ubon Ratchathani province, or at latitude 15.0 degrees north and longitude 106.0
degrees east with maximum sustained winds about 55 km/hr. This storm is moving west with a speed of 35 km/hr., Storm
“KALMAEGI” is forecast to move into Sirindhorn district, Ubon
Ratchathani, Thailand on this morning (7 November 2025) before weakening to active low-pressure
cell, respectively.
The
storm “KALMAEGI” effects the upper country with more rain and isolated heavy to
very heavy rains will occur in the Northeast, the East, the Central including
Bangkok and vicinity and the North respectively during 7-9 November 2025. People in the areas should beware of heavy to
very heavy rain and accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows
especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. Farmers should
prevent for crop damage.
The
wind force waves in the Andaman Sea up to 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters
high in thundershowers. All ships in the Andaman Sea should proceed with
caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the Andaman Sea should keep
ashore until 7 November 2025.
