Subject: Storm “KALMAEGI”
and heavy to very heavy rain in Thailand
No.14 (334/2025)

At 09.30 a.m. LST (7 November 2025), tropical depression “KALMAEGI” moved into Sirindhorn district of Ubon Ratchathani province, at 11.00 a.m., it was centered at Phibun Mangsahan district of Ubon Ratchathani province or at latitude 15.2 degrees north and longitude 105.2 degrees east with maximum sustained winds about 50 km/hr. This storm is moving west with a speed of 20 km/hr., expected to downgrade to the active low-pressure cell and move to cover the Northeast, the upper Central and the North during 7–8 November 2025.
The storm “KALMAEGI” effects the upper country with more rain and isolated heavy to very heavy rains will occur in the Northeast, the East, the Central including Bangkok and vicinity and the North respectively during 7-9 November 2025. People in the areas should beware of heavy to very heavy rain and accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. Farmers should prevent for crop damage.
The wind force waves in the Andaman Sea up to 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the Andaman Sea should keep ashore until 7 November 2025.
