Subject: Storm “KALMAEGI”

and heavy to very heavy rain in Thailand

No.18 (338/2025)

            The low-pressure cell covers the western part of the Northeast of Thailand. It is expected to move across the upper Central and the North regions.

            Isolated heavy rain is likely in the western part of the Northeast, the Central, and the North, respectively, during 8–9 November 2025. People in the areas should be aware of heavy rain and its accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. Farmers should take precautions against crop damage.

            The rather strong winds and waves in the Andaman Sea are expected to be 2 to 3 meters high and above 3 meters during thundershowers. All ships in the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and avoid thundershower areas. Small boats should remain ashore for another day.
