Subject: Storm “DANAS”

No.16 (173/2025)

At 4.00 a.m. LST (9 July 2025), the tropical storm “DANAS” over the East China Sea has made landfall over Zhejiang, China or at latitude 27.4 degrees north and longitude 120.0 degrees east. With its maximum sustained winds about 65 km/hr. The storm is moving west-southwest about 10 km/hr. It is likely to downgrade to the tropical depression and an active low-pressure cell, respectively. The storm is forecast to not move to Thailand and will have no direct impact on Thailand's weather, but it will induce a moderate of the southwest monsoon over the country. The travelers should check the weather conditions before traveling.
