Subject: Storm “BUALOI”
and heavy to very heavy rain in Thailand
No.13 (274/2025)

At 07.00 p.m.
LST (29 September 2025), Tropical storm “BUALOI” was downgraded to depression. At
10.00 p.m., This storm was centered at Luang Prabang, Laos or at latitude 20.5
degrees north and longitude 102.5 degrees east with maximum sustained winds
about 50 km./hr. This storm is moving
northwest with a speed of 20 km/hr. Storm “BUALOI” is forecast to downgrade
to an active low-pressure cell, over upper Myanmar during 29-30 September 2025.
This storm does not move to Thailand.
The
storm “BUALOI” effects to the strong monsoon through will lie across the North,
the upper Central and the Northeast while the rather strong southwest monsoon
prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf during 29-30 September 2025. Heavy rain is likely in many places over
country with isolated very heavy rain in the North, the Northeast, the East and
the Southwest coast. People in the country should beware of heavy to very heavy
rain and accumulation that may cause flash floods and overflows especially along
the waterways near foothills and lowlands. The wind force waves in the upper
Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf up to 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in
thundershowers. All ships in the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution. Small
boats in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf keep ashore lasting 30
September 2025.
