Subject: Cool to cold in Thailand and Strong wind-waves in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea
(Effect until 13 January 2025)
The strong high-pressure system from China which cover Thailand and the upper South is weakening with morning light fog with cool to cold and very cold weather in the country. People in the country should keep healthy and beware of fire due to strong winds and dry air.
The strong northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf and the South with will weaken with less rain in the lower South. The waves in the Gulf up to 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers while the waves in the Andaman Sea are likely 1-2 meters high, 2-3 meters high offshore and above 3 meters high in thundershower. People along the South (east coast) should beware of inshore surges. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boat in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea should keep ashore lasting 14 Jan 2025.
